  • “The Happywhenfit Program was engaging for the Year 7 students. Since the delivery of the course the students have become more aware of the content and are actively making comments, citing the information they learned from that class. In particular the lessons about sugar use. I found the program to be well structured and a good implementation into the Year 7 Health curriculum. The students engaged really well and enjoyed the hands on experience of creating their own researched meals. I think this program certainly has a place in Health classes”.

  • “Firstly, thanks for this program. My personal perspective regarding healthy food choices has changed considerably and I have been implementing this new information into my everyday life and my own children’s lunch boxes. My boys discuss processed food vs organic fruit and veg at the shops and actually say to each other “How much processing do you think went into this …(insert product)?” and quite often they will put the roll ups away and opt for a healthier option. My boys are 7 and 9 for context. It’s great to have those conversations start early in life and give them some ownership over their own health. We also talk about how we feel after eating certain foods and have noticed the “sugar crash”. This has cut down their consumption of sugary treats and I am very grateful to have taught your program so that I can share this information with my own family. My Year 7s have also thoroughly enjoyed learning about how much impact food has on the body. Their favorite lesson by far being about added sugar and measuring to visually see how much sugar they are consuming. We actually added up and measured out all of the added sugar in the average day of a couple of students and they were horrified to see how much extra sugar they were ingesting every day. It was a major eye opener!” -

  • “The Healthy Schools program has made teaching Health enjoyable again. It's relevant, easy to use for teachers, meaningful and informs our youth of the deeply needed facts of nutrition and how this not only affects our physical health but mental, social and environmental health. The program isn’t just about food either; it’s about building sustainable, long-term habits that nourish both body and mind. The students were genuinely engaged and loved the material and workbook. They especially loved the practical element of putting theory into reality with the wholefoodie chef component! If you’re looking for a program that combines meaningful lessons, expert guidance, and a positive approach to nutrition, The Healthy Schools Program is the way to go!”

She shared some insightful knowledge on healthy eating with the students and they couldn't stop talking about the freedom they had to create and cook their own recipe. An extremely worthwhile contribution to our well rounded athlete program (WRAP)”.
